About me
I’m so glad you’re here. My name is Brian Ho Pui Cheung and I am a performer. Born in Canada, raised in Suzhou, China, with blood from Hong Kong, I am proud to call myself a third culture individual.
Growing up I have always gravitated towards storytelling. Stemming from the desire to make others laugh, it didn’t take long for me to find my passion for performance. To me, performance is about the willingness to share one’s vulnerability with the audience to hopefully inspire change. I believe the beauty lies within the rawness of one’s unique individuality, and that good art is unfiltered art.
I recently graduated from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music (CCM) with a BFA in Musical Theater. Throughout my time there I was blessed with the opportunity to develop my now support system which I hold so dearly to my heart. CCM also introduced me to the world of dance which has since sparked a whole new realm of creativity and release for me. I hope to continue developing my artistry in New York City and one day find an opportunity to share a piece of myself to the world.
I’d like to think I’m a pretty goofy guy, but also zen, you know what I mean? Yeah. When I’m not performing, I enjoy going on walks, trying new foods and listening to music. I know. It’s basic. BUT it keeps me sane and I love it:)
